No! You reserve your rooms and your card will be charged upon check out!

Yes! You MUST book by October 19th 2022, the rates will go up after that date.

How early can I go to the wedding venue to find my seat?

Answer

We ask that you arrive no more than 30 minutes early. The photographers will still be taking pictures.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Sunday’s Best/Cocktail Attire. You may dress more relaxed in a blouse/button up, dress, nice jeans, skirt or slacks. Or if you prefer to dress up more you can wear a suit or cocktail dress. Heels are okay, the ceremony will be outside but you’ll be on turf so you won’t sink!

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside in front of the pond if weather permits. If last minute bad weather happens it will be moved to the on-site chapel, an extremely short walk away. The reception will be held indoors. Feel free to bring backup dancing shoes!

Can I take pictures with my phone while the ceremony is going on?

Answer

No absolutely not. The ceremony will be unplugged which means we ask all guests to silence their phones so we don’t have any interruptions during the special moment! Professional photographers have been hired to capture the bride and groom’s special day. Please let them do their (very expensive) job.

Will there be a designated smoking area?

Answer

Absolutely. There is a very nice designated smoking area outside. Please do not smoke near doors or on any sidewalks.

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

PLEASE please please RSVP so the caterer knows how much food and alcohol to provide. If you do not RSVP please bring a sandwich and a bottle of water. No RSVP means you aren’t included in the Alcohol or food headcount. We ask you to please be courteous and help us have an accurate headcount

Will there be alcohol or other drinks?

Hell. Yes. There will be two beer options on tap, New Glarus Spotted Cow (Wisconsin) and Canebrake Parish Brew (Louisiana) Michelob Ulta will be in a can and there will be a champagne cart as well Also water, sweet tea, unsweet tea, & wedding punch

How long will the reception last?

Answer

The reception will be from 5pm until 10:30 pm. 5:00 - 6:00 being a cocktail hour. The bar & appetizers will be open. Traditionally ceremonies and receptions only last 4 hours total but we wanted more time so we will have a total of 6 hours! The venue has to be completely cleared by 11 pm.

Are kids allowed to attend?

Answer

The ceremony and wedding will be adult only. Please respect the bride and groom’s wishes. They don’t want to be liable if you child gets hit with a kick flip on the dance floor. Please find a sitter for the night. Guests have been informed of this more than a year prior to the wedding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones MUST be cleared with the bride or groom IF you have not already been told yours includes a plus one. An accurate headcount is vital for food & drink quantities.
