Park City Main Street

Once the basecamp of a silver mining town, Park City's Main Street has come to represent the heart and soul of one of the most popular mountain towns in the west. For skiers and snowboarders, it boasts the most immediately accessible terrain anywhere in the United States with Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain each less than 10 minutes away. It’s also packed tight with luxury shops, art galleries and boutique restaurants to satisfy every craving.

Sundance Mountain Resort

Sundance offers an atmosphere steeped in cultural heritage. Since 1969, Robert Redford envisioned the growth of a community committed to balance of art, nature and community which is what you'll find here today. From art classes to fly fishing, dinning and shopping, Sundance has become a resting place for tourists and locals alike. You may also book accommodations on their website, Sundance Resort is a short 30 minute drive through Hwy-189 through the Wasatch Back with scenic views of Deer Creek Reservoir.

The Lakehouse at Deer Creek

Midway Mercantile

Built in 1874, Midway Mercantile has served Heber Valley residents and travelers alike. This once antique shop turned restaurant pays homage to it's land with an array of locally sourced seasonal produce. Heber Valley Brewing Company is the first craft brewery in Wasatch Count, UT. They focus on serving small batch, quality beer. Their Tap Room includes a variety of seasonal beer along with year-round favorites. Grab a Heber's Hazy during your visit, you won't be disappointed!

Guardsman Pass Scenic Drive

Guardsman's Pass, Wasatch Mountains, UT

Elevation Gain: 9,000 feet Parking Fee: N/A Note: Traffic can be heavy during peak times and contains some unpaved road Guardsman Pass is a 14-mile scenic drive into the Wasatch Mountains. The road runs up to a summit area between Big Cottonwood Canyon and the Park City Mountain Resort. This iconic Pass is known for it's epic 360 views. You'll often spot wildlife and find no shortage of Utah's mountain foliage. There are many Lookout Points along the drive, we highly recommend stopping to enjoying the views.

Alpine Loop Scenic Byway

Alpine Loop Scenic Byway, UT

Elevation Gain: 8,000 feet Parking Fee: N/A Note: Traffic can be heavy during peak times. This 20-mile drive winds through rugged alpine canyons of the Wasatch Range offering stupendous views of Mount Timpanogos and other glacier-carved peaks. The route follows Utah Hwy. 92 up American Fork Canyon and then continues through Uinta National Forest into Provo Canyon on U.S. 189. Timpanogos Cave National Monument and Robert Redford's Sundance are located along the route.

Deer Creek State Park

Deer Creek has a variety of activities from windsurfing, boating, zip line, swimming, and fishing on the Deer Creek Reservoir. With spectacular views of nearby Mount Timpanogos we highly recommend booking an activity during your visit. Jordanelle State Park

Jordanelle Reservoir offers some of the best picnicking, camping and boating that you will find in the Wasatch Back. We recommend booking an activity during your visit. Tibble Fork Reservoir

Tibble Fork Reservoir is a medium sized lake in American Fork Canyon that has beautiful crystal blue water and is surrounded by soaring mountain peaks. A sandy beach has recently been added to help increase the comfort of the swimmers and sunbathers. There are many nearby trails and even several other lakes further up the road, such as Silver Lake. No motor boats are allowed, but you can bring the pups! For directions, visit the link below.
