FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Between 2:30 and 3 pm

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is not a specific dress code. Both Indian and American attire are welcome. We just want you to feel beautiful and comfortable for a day of celebrating. Color and sparkles are commonly seen on women's clothing at Hindu weddings. If you'd like to wear Indian attire, here a couple websites you can order from. https://www.perniaspopupshop.com https://www.azafashions.com https://www.lashkaraa.com

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a free parking lot at the venue.

Question

Is there a Baraat?

Answer

We will not be having a Baraat. As much fun as it is dancing up to the altar, it will be winter and having a dance party in the bitter cold may not be as enjoyable.

Question

Is there break between events?

Answer

There will not be a break between events. The day will start at 2:45 and go straight to 10pm. The timing is as follows: Milni Ceremony 2:45-3:00 pm, Hindu Ceremony 3:00-4:15 pm, Cocktail Hour 4:15pm - 6:00pm, and Reception 6:00pm-10:pm.

Question

I'm staying at a hotel, will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle going from the Fairfield Inn to the Venue around 2pm and back to the hotel at 9pm and 10pm. If you are staying at the Canopy, it is a short walk from the Fairfield to the the Canopy Hotel.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

There is no formal after party. However, we will informally be hanging out at the Libertine Restaurant attached to the Fairfield Inn if you'd like to keep enjoying the night.

For all the days along the way
