We're getting married!

Jon and I officially met while attending St. Joseph Catholic School, but our real story begins a bit later. As I was preparing to begin my freshman year at Manatee High School, Jon (a junior at the time) reached out to me through Facebook to offer some advice on transitioning from a private prep school to a public high school. In September of 2010, Jon asked me to be his date to the homecoming dance. On what turned out to be the first of many dances that we attended together, he asked me to be his girlfriend. We've been adventuring through life together ever since!

After graduating from Florida State University, Jon and I made a big change and headed for the mountains by moving to the state of Washington! One of our favorite places to climb, hike and decompress is in Leavenworth WA, a quaint German town nestled within the Cascade mountains. After almost 10 years of dating, while standing in a beautiful field of wild sunflowers, Jon asked me to marry him, and I happily accepted.
