Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We would love to see our family and friends all dressed up for our big day! We suggest cocktail dresses or suits (tie optional). Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white. Please keep in mind the ceremony will be held outside!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographers to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like and don’t forget to share them with us! Feel free to use #woodsfordwedding2026

Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would appreciate if all photos and videos are not shared until the day after the wedding. We hope everyone will be present and too busy enjoying the day to post anything.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of children that are invited. For those bringing children, please be sure to watch them closely.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We will have a cash bar available at the venue for guests to purchase their preferred drinks.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have a block reserved at the Hampton Inn & Suites Moline. Please reserve by September 3rd to secure discounted rate. See travel page to book!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would appreciate it if all of our guests would arrive by 2:30p.m. as our ceremony starts at 3p.m.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! There will be a bus going back and forth between the Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel and Pinnacle Country Club from 1p.m. to 2:30p.m. and 9p.m. to midnight.

Answer

We will be doing digital RSVP’s, please refer to the RSVP page to get started! We ask that all of our guests RSVP by September 3rd.

Guests can choose between chicken alfredo, lasagna, and white cheddar mac and cheese with breadsticks and a salad bar.
