From Vancouver (YVR): 1. Drive to Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal 2. Board Ferry to Nanaimo (Departure Bay), ~1h40 3. After arriving in Nanaimo, drive to Buckley Bay ferry terminal, ~50mins 4. Board Ferry to Denman Island West, ~15mins 5. Drive across Denman to Denman Island East Ferry terminal, ~15mins 6. Board Ferry to Hornby Island (Shingle Spit), ~10mins. 7. Drive to Sea Breeze Lodge, ~10mins * Note: we will do our best to ensure that out-of-town guests can be matched up with whoever may have space in their car, to make it easier and more affordable for everyone. Please message us so we can help you organize this!

From Comox Airport (YQQ) - Option A: Rent a car and drive to Buckley Bay ferry terminal, 30 mins Follow steps 4-7 above ! From Comox Airport (YQQ) - Option B: Taxi to Comox Harbour, 5 mins Board a pre-arranged private chartered boat to Hornby, 30 mins. * Note: Please let Alastair or Jessica know if you want a spot on the charter as we need to pre-arrange it. Cost is ~60$ per person if we arrange 12 people to travel together.

If you are taking the ferries to Hornby: TIP 1: You save ~$30-40 if you pre-load a "BC Ferries Experience Card" for this route. If you don't already have an Experience Card it can be purchased at the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal when you arrive. TIP 2: Ferry schedules can be found on the BC Ferries Website. TIP 3: The only reservable route is the Nanaimo - Horseshoe Bay Ferry. We strongly recommend reserving it to avoid a good old-fashioned ferry wait—no reservations needed for the smaller ferries along the Buckley Bay-Denman Island-Hornby route.
