Our relationship began when we were introduced by mutual friends in grade school over thirty years ago and started a friendship that grew as we became courageous teenagers. We eventually lived in different cities after highschool but stayed in touch, keeping each other informed of major life events, relationship shortcomings and growth phases. Over this time, we learned a lot about how the other handled stressful situations, love and relationships with other people. Fast forward to last March, we reconnected when Mac was in town for his moms 80th birthday. Lisa dropped by the house to say hi after not having seen each other for 9 years. The reunion was obviously electric and we soon after decided to start dating long distance as Mac lives in Nashville and Lisa in MD. After scoping the best area schools for Bella, we bought a house together in November in Nashville and in January, Mac proposed on a gazebo on the ocean in Jamaica. It's an amazing thing when you search so hard for someone your entire life and it turns out that they were right in front of your eyes the whole time. We can't wait to celebrate over 30 years of love and friendship with you in October!
