Trevor, the best man, and Alexandra, the wedding planner, met the Spring of 2016. It was a natural pair when Trevor wanted to be the 'best' best man he could be and follow Alexandra around to see if she needed help. To Alexandra it was sweet have someone so attentive helping make the evening progress perfectly for the couple of that weekend. Trevor didn't want the night to get away without notice and proceeded to ask Alexandra on multiple dates throughout the evening, as well for confirmation via phone that same night. Both were captivated and the rest was history after their first date at Motor Supply restaurant in Columbia, SC.
It was meant to be when Trevor proposed in the most beautiful way - surrounded by family in Alexandra's home-town with the Toronto city skyline in the background on a private boat. The proposal was on Canada Day weekend. We were waiting at my childhood home, surprised when told we would be taking a sunset cruise on a family friends boat. Not just another traditional summer boat cruise when Trevor got down on one knee to pop the question. It was a spectacular and special moment to be proposed to in my home city, downtown Toronto, Ontario. The backdrop of the city skyline in the background was simply picture perfect.
Join Trevor & Alexandra with their families for a Southern affair with a Parisian flair. The black-tie evening will be held at The Gadsden House off of East Bay Street in downtown Charleston. The ceremony will begin at 5:15PM in the courtyard of the venue where you can shower the newlyweds with petals from the cones hanging on your chair. After a courtyard cocktail hour float through The Gadsden House and join us on the second floor for a seated dinner while overlooking the Holy City (Charleston's nickname).
