Maid of Honor
Tori and Julie met their first year at Missouri State University on Bid Day when they joined the same sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha. They instantly hit it off and decided they would be friends from that moment on! Sophomore year they were roommates living in their sorority house and were by each others side through many ups and downs through college and beyond. Over the years Tori's family has become a second family for Julie. Tori is caring, supportive and encouraging.
Best Man
Kendall and Josh met when they were eight when they were in the same Scout pack. They have been through everything life has thrown at them and continue to support each other through it all. Kendall is Josh’s brother from another mother and knows him better than almost anyone. Kendall is currently working in the United States Army. Kendall is impulsive, outgoing, and adventurous.
Bridesmaid
Bethany and Julie met at Missouri State University while being involved in leadership programs on campus. Their Junior year of college, they were Emerging Leader facilitators together. Bethany and Julie also shared an internship at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, where they bonded even more. Bethany and Julie enjoy their weekly Monday night routine of watching The Bachelorette or The Bachelor when new seasons air on TV. Bethany is uplifting, dependable and always there to listen.
Groomsman
Jordan and Josh met in middle school and became very close friends through high school. They played sports together all through high school. They have been roommates for two years now. Jordan currently works as a banker for Mid Missouri Bank. Jordan is passionate about sports, competitive, stubbornly sarcastic and caring.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Julie met their Freshman year of college through a mutual friend, while eating lunch in the dinning hall at MSU and sharing life stories. However, the two did not become good friends until Sophomore year at Missouri State University, after Lauren joined Alpha Sigma Alpha. If Julie has any memorable stories from college, Lauren is likely in someway a part of that story. Lauren is smart, fearless and one of the most determined individuals out there.
Groomsman
Jason and Josh met each other way back at Mark Twain Elementary. They became close friends through high school. Jason and Josh have always received eye rolls from others in the group when they nerd out about certain things that they share interest in. Jason is currently going through Cox College for his bachelor’s in Nursing.
Bridesmaid
Julie and Megan met at the beginning of Julie's junior year of college in their sorority Alpha Sigma Alpha. Megan quickly became one of Julie's "Little Sisters" in their sorority family. The two immediately hit it off and remained a part of each others lives even after Julie graduated from MSU. Megan has always been there with encouraging words. Megan is kind, creative and genuine.
Groomsman
Aaron and Josh met back in 4th grade at Mark Twain when he moved to Springfield from Arizona. They have spent countless hours playing video games, board games together along with camping together in scouts. Aaron is currently serving in the United States Marines. Aaron is competitive, strong willed and compassionate.
Bridesmaid
Alex and Julie met at Parkview High School, where they played soccer and had a few classes together. They were separated during college as Alex went to Mizzou, but the two always remained in contact and would catch up most visits Alex had back in Springfield. Alex has remained a constant friend over the years, despite living in different cities the majority of the time since graduating from Parkview. Alex is sweet, reliable and consistent.
Groomsman/Usher
Jacob is the youngest of The Woodiel Boys and their ‘mini me’. When Julie and Josh’s friendship began Jacob was just a toddler. Because of this he does not remember a time when Julie wasn’t part of Josh’s life. Jacob is a sophomore at Parkview HS, Class President and an academic enthusiast with aspirations to become a chemical engineer.
Bridesmaid
Amanda and Julie met at Parkview High School, where they played soccer together and quickly became friends their Junior year. Many summers were spent with Amanda by the pool and eating Pineapple Whip. Amanda and Julie stayed in Springfield for university and remained in close contact despite attending different universities. Amanda has always been a lot of fun to be around. She is outgoing, funny and adventurous.
Groomsman/Usher
Joseph is Josh’s younger brother and has had to endure being the younger middle brother over the years. This includes always having to sit in the back seat and having to select ‘second player’ while playing video games. Despite this Joseph and his brothers are incredibly close. They are always there to support one another. Whether it be an athletic event, a collegiate choir concert, or other activity the brothers are always there for one another so it was only natural that Joseph would stand up for his oldest brother on his wedding day. Joseph is very outgoing, compassionate and strong willed which will serve him well through life.
Bridesmaid
Kayla and Julie met when they worked together for their first job right out of college. Kayla is also an Alpha Sigma Alpha sister, who attended Truman University. This friendship quickly formed and the two became close friends in a short amount of time bonding over coffee, rolled ice cream and love for dogs. Kayla was a friend who in a very short time, felt like someone who had been a part of Julie's life for many years before. Kayla is strong, trustworthy and loyal.
Ring Bearer & Flower Girl
These cute kiddos have been a part of Julie's life since she started babysitting them when she was in college. Their mom Andrea, use to be an advisor for Julie during her involvement with the Fraternity and Sorority Life community at Missouri State University. Once the Weber kids met Josh, they loved him right away- so it was only natural that we ask them to hold these very important roles on our wedding day!
