Huzzah!!! We're Getting Married

While attending our favorite event of the year, I would have never guessed what My Love had planned... The Maryland Renaissance festival is a MUST go-to for us at least twice a year and this year, we'd planned our second trip there, just the two of us. After some dancing, wine, and fabulously bad-for-you food, we found someone to take our picture on the "Lovers Bridge". (Our yearly photo!) Once taken, Eric suggests we sit on the bench in front of the bridge, and have a photo in front of it. We take a few pictures and then Eric gets up and says to the sweet woman who was using his phone to record, that he wants one more. She's explaining to me that they're "blurry" so let's get one more! I adjust myself on the bench, Eric walks back over, bends down on ONE KNEE, and just smiles - and cries - and it felt like a DREAM. I remember crying, nodding, shaking, burying my head down into Eric and my own lap - and saying "I wish I hadn't drank so much earlier!" but "YES"! The rest of the festival felt like it was only a celebration for the two of us. People in the street cheering as I obnoxiously and proudly shout "We're Engaged!!!!" - one lady announced it in a pub and everyone stomped and cheered just for he and I. xoxoxoxoxo
