After Seth transferred to CNU, he and Morgan were shortly introduced to each other through their mutual friends. They would often see each other on campus, in the gym, and out on the weekends. Come to find out, these occurrences were often not a coincidence. According to Seth, he would sometimes alter his schedule to try to run into Morgan. Eventually, after an evening of talking at their friends' super bowl party, Seth asked Morgan out on a date. Seth has always told Morgan to "trust the process", but she did not always understand what he meant by that. Turns out, "trusting the process" means to intentionally leave behind an important item at a girl's apartment in order to guarantee a text from her the next day. Since that day in February of 2018 when Morgan texted him that he forgot something at her apartment, they have not gone a day without speaking and will get to officially start their lives together in December of 2022.

While Morgan thought they were spending a long weekend at the Wooddell cabin in West Virginia with friends and family, Seth had other plans. While Seth and Morgan were on their way to take a shower to prepare for dinner at a local bar, Seth kept missing turns and making wrong turns along the trails. Seth finally agreed to turn around after Morgan's various requests, but still continued to go the wrong way. He parked in a field at Morgan’s favorite spot of the property and mentioned that Morgan owed him a dance from a failed "Adventure Challenge" date. They danced, reminisced on past cabin memories, and he eventually got down on one knee to ask Morgan to marry him. With their friends far away in the bushes holding cameras and a go pro attached to the RZR they were driving, the best moment to date was captured forever.
