Welcome party- Shuttles will depart the Alila and Hilton at 4:30PM for Paradise Point. Shuttles will depart Paradise Point back to the Alila and Hilton at 9PM. For those who want to stay out, one shuttle will take guests to the Flamingo Deck in Pacific Beach. Ceremony/Reception- shuttles will depart the Alila and Hilton at 1:15PM for the ceremony. Following the ceremony, shuttles will take guests directly to the Alila for the reception. At the end of the night, shuttles will loop between the Alila and Hilton from 10:30PM-1AM
San Diego in late October is typically mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures averaging in the mid-70s°F and cooler evenings in the mid-60s°F. It’s usually sunny, but we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater for the evenings, just in case.
For the welcome party, we request guests wear cocktail attire in sunset colors (red, yellow, orange, purple) For the wedding reception, we kindly request black tie attire. Gentlemen, please wear a tuxedo. Ladies, an evening gown or ball gown is perfect. We look forward to seeing everyone in their finest attire!
Although we adore your children, we have decided to make the wedding weekend an adults-only weekend
There is a free parking lot at the Mission for the ceremony. The Alila Marea will be provide $18 event parking
Yes, there will be a slight gap. Shuttles will be staggered back to the hotel, so guests can either spend time exploring the mission after the ceremony, or head back to the hotel to freshen up or enjoy the hotel bar.
