Duong and Thuy have been great parents throughout the years, dedicating so much towards a better world for their two daughters. From a young age, Nicole's parents have always instilled the importance of giving back to the community and helping those who are less fortunate. She and her parents have spent a lot of time in Vietnam, supporting those who have needed a helping hand. Nicole is very thankful for her parents for inspiring her to be the woman that she is today, and she hopes to one day be an equally wonderful parent to her own children.

Herb and Nancy are some of the best people to be your parents. They've raised Brian to be the man he is today, and they've welcomed Nicole with open arms. They have a deep sense of care for the people in their children's lives. When Brian would invite large groups of friends over in high school, they always kept everyone well-fed. Brian's friends would often remark how their parents aspired to be more like Herb and Nancy when guests were around! Big or small, Brian's parents have been consistent in raising a family rooted in hard work, connectivity, and compassion.
Claudia Bui
Maid of Honor
Nicole had always told her parents that she wanted a younger sibling, and Claudia came as the blessing that she asked for. From the day she was born, she has always been Nicole's best friend. Despite a five-year age gap, Nicole and Claudia share many things in common, both having the same sense of adventure and a love for great food. One of her best traits, Claudia maintains a sense of calm rationale when Nicole needs it most, leaving her mark as the perfect Maid of Honor.
Brian Sherman
Best Man
Sherman is one of the best friends you could ask for. Brian and Brian have been friends since early high school and would spend every weekend playing Rock Band and Halo 3 together. Between his friendly demeanor, impeccable comedic timing & wit, and unwavering loyalty, Sherman has earned his place as a once-in-a-lifetime confidant and Best Man. Please do not try to out-drink Sherman at the wedding; Nicole and Brian can't afford to pay for his win.
Yvonne Kwan
Bridesmaid
Yvonne has been one of the most selfless and kindhearted people in Nicole's life. Yvonne and Nicole originally met through Rotary. Both a teacher and an active participant in community service, Yvonne is anchored in helping others, and she has strongly represented who Nicole strives to be. Nicole is so thankful to have gained such a great friend to share love in boba and all things Disney.
Dhruv Dhall
Groomsman
Dhruv has been one of Brian's closest friends ever since high school. He has a heart like none other and can can always find common ground with people, building relationships in seconds. Despite traveling the world for much of his adult life, Dhruv has never missed a visit back home to spend time with Brian and the larger group. He's someone you can always count on to be there when you need him most.
Jennifer Huynh

Nicole first met Jennifer when they were in college—she always admired how Jennifer spoke her mind and was no one but herself. Their unwavering friendship has been one of Nicole's greatest school memories at UC Davis. Jennifer will forever be a great friend to share drinks with, enjoying a cocktail over deep and thoughtful conversation. Despite living so far from home, Jennifer always feels close to Nicole.
Andrew Bondale
Groomsman
Andrew and Brian went to both high school and college together. He has a headstrong personality that makes him a consistent advocate and friend. Sorry Mom and Dad, Bondale is the guy who would pick up Brian at 2am to hang out—when Brian goes to the Pleasanton Ridge with Nicole, he always talks about the time when Andrew picked him up early in the morning to wait for sunrise at the top of the mountain.
Olivia Wong

Nicole first met Olivia in college at UC Davis, where they worked together at a Walnut Lab. During college, they would go from working at the lab to studying for Anatomy class together. Since then, Olivia has always been a friend to share a love for Korean music and concerts. Olivia has always been a constant friendship and a positive burst of energy that livens Nicole's life. To think it all started at a walnut lab!
Jacob Axelrod
Groomsman
Jacob is Brian's longest-lasting friendships in the wedding party, dating back to when they were eleven years old. They had shared school from early childhood through high school, and even continued on to be a great roommate into adulthood. Brian and Nicole both consider Jake to be one of the most reliably empathetic people in their lives, and he is time and time again someone that they've been able to count on.

Starting medical school was daunting but becoming Christine's best friend was one of the best decisions Nicole could have made. Christine is so caring and compassionate to everyone she meets. You cannot help but feel a sense of calmness when she is in your presence. We appreciate Christine so much, for everything she has done for Nicole and Brian and are so thankful for your dear friendship.
Matthew Guevara

Matt has been a staple in Brian's circle of friends at work. Brian loved working with him at SmartZip so much that he invited Matt to join him again at LinkedIn. Matt's someone who never says no to a good time and is a great buddy to have join for dinner, rock climbing, or bar hopping. Brian and Nicole love to bring him to gatherings—people gravitate towards him, and the whole room always enjoys his company.
