When should I arrive on the day of the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm, so please arrive 15 minutes early at 4:15pm.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Busses will be used to transport guests to the after party location (Argus BarGrille) at 11pm. After party location will be in the basement, walk to the straight back of the bar and find the stairs to the right.

I am from out of town, which airport should I fly into?

Answer

There are a few options! Madison Airport (MSN) is the closest. Other options include the Milwaukee Airport (MKE), about a 1 hour and 15 minute drive to Madison, and O’Hare Airport (ORD) or Midway Airport (MDW) in Chicago, about a 2.5 hour drive to Madison.

Are kids welcome?

While we adore your little ones, we've decided to keep our wedding an adults-only occasion.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be indoors! The venue is fully heated/cooled, including a 4-season greenhouse. A coat rack will be provided if it is a cold day. There is a small outdoor courtyard in our entryway that can be enjoyed if the weather allows.

I am driving, where should I park?

Answer

There is street parking available surrounding the Tinsmith as well as a City of Madison Parking Garage on the corner of Main Street and S Livingston Street. The average rate is $1.20 per hour with a max of $8.00, and overnight parking is available. There is also a public parking garage on the corner of Main Street and Paterson. Event parking rates may apply.
