How did the Bride and Groom Meet?

Answer

In January 2023 conversations related to cartoons, birth states, Dallas landmarks and Jesus led the pair to form a connection online via the Hinge dating app. Initial interactions during the first date at Starbucks led to a strong bond, romance, and love.

What are fun facts to know about the Groom?

Answer

Joshua was born in Hawaii to parents Kimberly Renee Gatlin and Renardo Ray Wilborn-Bentley. He later traveled with his mother Kimberly to states including California and Virginia before finally settling in his mother's hometown of Akron, OH. Joshua has 5 sisters, three brothers and a precious flock that refer to him as "Uncle Josh". Joshua enjoys ALL things music and carries a deep love for the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoys spending time and volunteering with his fraternity members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He is a proud graduate from both Bowling Green State University and Full Sail University.

Tiauna was born in Pine Bluff, AR to parents Helen Marie Plummer and Lemuel Smith. Close friends and family admirably refer to her as "Gabby", a nickname concocted to reflect the gift of gab and her strong desire to interact through conversation. Tiauna has two older brothers, she is also the youngest of her first cousins. Her favorite past times include exploring new restaurants, learning about other cultures through food, relishing in board games, and chatting with friends while sipping the latest trending coffee drink. Tiauna is a proud two time graduate of Southern University and A&M College-Baton Rouge.

"Garden Formal" is a dress code that combines elements of formal attire with a relaxed, outdoor vibe. Think of it as a blend of elegance and comfort. It's about looking polished and put-together, but in a way that's suitable for an outdoor setting. For women, this could mean a chic midi dress in a floral print. For men, a light-colored suit or blazer.

We respectfully request that guests do not take photographs during the ceremony as professional pictures will be taken. However, at the reception you are welcome to take photos and video at your leisure. We'd love for you to share all photos and videos taken. While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening. Answer

Yes, beer and alcohol will be served during Cocktail Hour and the Reception. To represent our Bride and Groom, two specially made cocktails will be featured to represent this union.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We will be starting the ceremony promptly at 5pm, we ask that all guests arrive 15-30 minutes earlier than the actual time to ensure punctuality.
