Hailey and Mitchell matched on Bumble while Mitchell was working at Cincinnati Financial and Hailey was finishing up her undergraduate degree at Xavier University. They had their first date at Bar Louie in Oakley. Not long after, Hailey left Xavier for The Ohio State University where she completed her PharmD. For the next four years Mitchell and Hailey were long distance and would drive between Cincinnati and Columbus to see each other on the weekends. Hailey and Mitchell moved to Asheville, NC in 2021 when Hailey matched at Mission Hospital for her residency. They lived there until Hurricane Helene hit Asheville in September of 2024. Hailey and Mitchell moved back to Ohio and currently reside in Columbus.
