Elizabeth Haber and David Lewis, together with their families announced their engagement following David’s proposal at the beautiful Bear Hill Preserve. Elizabeth, daughter to Matthew and Dorothy Haber of Milford, PA and David, son to David and Cathy Lewis of Thompson Ridge, NY currently reside in the Town of Mamakating and are both employed in the health care field within our local communities. Elizabeth earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Long Island University Brooklyn and is currently a Registered Nurse and the In-house Wound Care Liaison for Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. David earned his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego, CA. He is the creator of Access Outdoors Occupational Therapy and an Occupational Therapist at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital and Middletown Park Manor Rehabilitation, as well an an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Orange. Together with their boys Cassius, 10 and Matthew, 8 they spend time hiking, paddling, cycling, renovating their new home, and enjoying all the Hudson Valley has to offer.
