Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but hope you can enjoy a night off! Adults only, please.

Do you have a room block anywhere?

Answer

We will have a room block at 2 Hotels with shuttle service running to and from the wedding for both. Fairfield Inn and Suites (411 Merrimac Ave, Middletown, DE 19709) and Holiday Inn (315 Auto Park Dr, Middletown, DE 19709).

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This event will be held in the backyard of an old manor. The theme will be Garden Party formal. Google defines this as elements of formal attire with a relaxed, outdoor vibe. Do with that what you will. (Semi-formal is fine)

What shoes should I wear?

Just fyi: the ceremony and cocktail hour will be in a grassy area- you may want to forego the stilettos

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We will have shuttle service to and from the hotels. If you aren't able to spend the weekend, parking will be available on site.

Shuttles?

Answer

You will be riding in style via School Buses. Times to updated! Do not be late or you will be driving. The buses will be available the whole time - the wedding and reception. You can utilize the buses as a shuttle if anyone needs to go back early. The bus will load @3pm from Fairfield and @3:15 from Holiday Inn on Saturday.

Are their ubers in the area?

Answer

Short answer is: Don't expect it. Chesapeake City is very rural. So you may- you may not. Please try and utilize the buses!
