Grace thought she and Ian were going to meet his parents here for dinner the night he proposed. Instead they ended up in a parking lot in the middle of a construction zone... where their first date ended. Ian proposed in that exact spot.
Border To Border Trail
This beautiful trail in Dexter features both pavement and a boardwalk. Ian and Grace have taken many walks there before Dexter HS Football Games, and they even chose it to be the location their engagement photos!

Elbel Field
The practice field of the Michigan Marching Band! This is the relocation of the old Elbel Field where Grace spent countless hours rehearsing as a member of the MMB. Ian proposed to Grace in a parking lot across from the new Elbel Field :)
Parking Spot in Ann Arbor
Our first date was 10 1/2 hours long, and ended in this parking lot after Ian walked Grace back to her car. Ian eventually proposed to Grace in this same parking spot!
