Contrary to popular belief, Friday the 13th, of January 2017 was in fact a lucky day for Megan and AJ! Megan and AJ ended up at the same party that night at Penn State Behrend where they first met. Megan was heading home just minutes after talking to AJ, but in those few minutes, she knew she wanted to know more about him. Hoping to see him again soon, Megan quickly took it upon herself to say "I heard you are having a party tomorrow, I'll see you then?" (He was not having a party... but now he had to, right?) AJ asked for her phone number before leaving and the rest was history. Over the next few months, the two spent a lot of time getting to know each other better. Megan even found out AJ had previously seen her at the gym but was too nervous to approach her. April 18, 2017, AJ made the relationship official by asking Megan to be his girlfriend. Over the next few years, the couple continued building their relationship, long-distance at times, while navigating college, post-college life, and starting their careers. February 5, 2022, Megan and AJ signed a lease for their first apartment together in Cranberry Township, PA. The couple has made countless memories throughout their 7 years together. However, their favorite memory to date occurred on May 20, 2023 when they were on vacation in Topsail Island, NC and AJ got down on one knee and popped the question! ___ As we enter this new chapter of life, we feel extremely grateful and blessed for all the love and support we have received from our families and friends over the years to help us get to this day.
