Gregory and Jennifer met on February 18, 2024. Gregory had moved to Bowling Green just one month before, and Jennifer had only lived there since the previous August. Hinge was the app that introduced them, but it wasn’t long before they met for their first coffee date and spent three hours OUTSIDE in 40 degree weather not even noticing the time pass. Two weeks later Gregory was off to Hawaii for several months to commence filming, and Jenny was deep in her semester while choreographing, directing, and prepping for a summer out of town for gigs. There was about a week and half overlap when they would be in Bowling Green together again in May before Jenny took off for the summer, and it was in that week and a half that they decided the relationship was worth investing in - even if the first couple months would be spent apart. By February 2025 they had visited ten different states, met family members, supported one another’s careers, spent time in rehearsal rooms and on film sets, gone on vacation, and enjoyed the holidays together. On March 14, 2025 Gregory took Jennifer to a beautiful arboretum overlooking the city where they fell in love and asked her to be his wife. It had been 391 days since they had first sat outside Spencer’s on that cool February afternoon. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* The first year and change of our relationship has not always been easy. We have walked through career setbacks, new health discoveries, a large home adjustment, and long bouts of distance. Through it all we have grown closer as we have learned to trust one another to help carry each others’ burdens and support one another on a daily basis. In May 2025, we legally and spiritually got married in the same arboretum where we got engaged surrounded by family and beautiful blossoming flowers and trees that just weeks before had only been buds. We cannot wait to share our growing love with all of you who come to celebrate with us in December. We will have a short ceremony to include you all in our nuptials, and then we will party into the evening in celebration of our union. We cannot thank each of you enough for your support throughout our lives as individuals. We’re excited to meet each other’s families and communities and to continue to be able to love and support you as well. If we’ve learned nothing else since meeting one another it’s just how much loving one another can spill out to bless those around us! We love you!
