We knew each other in high school but never had contact. We later met at a classmate of Baylee's, end-of-the-year senior party. We talked for about two hours during that party in the kitchen and it just clicked. He tried so hard that following summer to try to go on a date, talking to me every day and I finally caved and visited him his first weekend back to MSU. We both knew instantly we were two peas in a pod.

He wanted to get new family pictures and had been begging me for a couple of weeks. He finally got sick of me pushing it aside and set it up on his own and planned a whole day with an old family friend who happened to be a photographer. We started at one of our favorite places of the year, a cider mill, moved on to Royal Oak where we spent quite a bit of time, and ended at the Highland Recreational Center where we got our first set of family pictures done. At the end of the shoot, he asked me "You know why I brought you here right?", my mind went blank because I could hear the shaking in his voice. He went on to tell me how we went full circle and came back to the city where our relationship began. Without a beat, I started to cry, squatted down kissed him, and said yes. I was so excited I almost knocked the ring out of his hand and didn't even look at it! P.S. The ring is beautiful! We're excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you soon!
