How do I get there?

Answer

The Conrad Mansion is located at 31121 Hawk Avenue, Conrad, IA 50621. This is the location of our ceremony AND reception. The mansion attached to the venue is for the very close family of the bride and groom for the whole weekend :)

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Once you arrive to the address listed above, signs will direct you to our ceremony site and from there, it is a very short walk across the property to our cocktail hour and reception venue :)

What is the parking situation?

Answer

There is a large parking lot on site at the mansion that can hold up to 200 vehicles! If carpooling to one of the local hotels, you can leave your car at the mansion so long as it is moved by noon the following day.

Will your ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We aren't sure yet! :) With October in the midwest being unpredictable, we are waiting until closer to the date to decide where our ceremony will be held. Pray for beautiful weather!

Will there be transportation to/from the hotel(s)?

Answer

As of right now, we unfortunately are not providing any shuttles or transportation to or from the Marshalltown hotels. They are about a 20-30 minute drive from our venue. Please plan to have a DD! If anything changes with the transportation, we will update this ASAP.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We are requesting semi-formal or cocktail attire. Please note, weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and there might be lawn games or other activities on grass.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Any additional guests should be listed on your save the date/invite. If there are any questions or concerns, please text Sam or Alena at anytime and we can always see what we can do as RSVPs start coming in.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes! With both of us having large families with lots of kiddos, we are excited to celebrate with the entire family.

What type of food will be served?

What if I have an allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

Once the menu is set, we will make sure that anyone with allergies or restrictions will have a chance to note it on their RSVP when the time comes.

We ask that you please click on the "RSVP" tab listed on this website to RSVP by October 1, 2025.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you are looking for wedding gift ideas, our registry is available under the "Registry" tab (although its still somewhat of a work in progress) Note: Neither of us are really big drinkers, so we kindly ask for no alcoholic gifts. But don't worry -- there will be plenty of alcoholic beverages for all at the wedding!
