Our Story
Our story all started with a blind date. Colton's best friend and roommate mentioned going on a date with a girl that he knew. Later that night, Colton sent Sydney a text that his best friend's wife drafted for him saying he was interested in taking her out to dinner. Sydney had given consent to share her phone number but was surprised he actually reached out. She agreed to "just one date" with Colton.
Our first date ended up being on Valentine's Day 2025. And with how busy restaurants are for the holiday, we decided Cava was a good place to eat. About a month later, Colton asked Sydney to be his girlfriend, and on February 7th, 2026, we got engaged! We are excited for our future together and what the Lord has in store for us.
