What is the preferred dress code?

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Franklin First United Methodist Church - Historic Sanctuary at 148 5th Avenue S, Franklin TN. Doors will open at 12:15.

Is parking available at the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, parking is available. For the ceremony, we encourage using the 4th Avenue Parking Garage, which offers free parking. Street parking is limited, and there is also a paid lot behind Generations Church across from the sanctuary.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony 15-20 minutes early to allow time to park and find a seat before the service begins. The ceremony begins at 1:00, and doors will open at 12:15. We ask that everyone is seated by 12:45.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will follow at the Witt Family Residence, located at 505 Arbor Drive, Franklin, TN.

Is parking available at the reception?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available at the Cottonwood Clubhouse, located at 180 Cottonwood Drive, Franklin, TN. Shuttle service will be provided for guests, and we kindly ask that you follow signage and directions for the easiest access. Arbor Drive will be reserved for guests with accessibility needs and those in the wedding party. We appreciate your understanding!

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception will take place outdoors underneath a tent. We’ll have plenty of shade, fans, and umbrellas to keep everyone comfortable.

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be serving beverages and a variety of light bites throughout the afternoon.
