Matron of Honor
Laura and Rachel first met during college days, and Rachel was quickly upgraded from “Shubie’s girlfriend” to close friend. They have had great memories throughout the years, including trips to Easton, bottomless brunches in DC, having a work BFF, and much more.
Best Man
Dan and Jake met their freshman year of college while living on the same floor of the freshman mens dorm. They hated each other over the next year but then became friends while discovering their mutual admiration of rapper T.I.’s second EP, Paper Trails. They then spent the next 8 years as roommates and close friends.
Bridesmaid
Laura and Kelly go way back… to February 1991 when Kelly made Laura a big sister. After years of psychological warfare and “acting” perfect, Laura and Kelly now share a fun adult sister relationship filled with concerts, travel, and a passion for reliving early 2000s nostalgia.
Groomsman
Dan and Shawn first met at a study group freshman year of college and ultimately pledged the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity together. With over a decade of friendship, Dan and Shawn have successfully cheated death no less than five times and remain close through their love of recreational sports and landscaping.
Bridesmaid
Laura and Shelby also go way back, being the first two cousins on their side of the family. While they mostly saw each other in Maine growing up, catching jellyfish and playing in tidal pools, they became close again after Laura’s time in Texas. They both share a love for dogs, exploring new places, and of course, margaritas.
Groomsman
Dan and Forrest first met in college through a friend and quickly discovered a mutual love for sports, video games, and horticulture. They quickly became friends and have many firsts together including their first cross-country road-trip, first (and only) run-in with Border Patrol, first spring break trip, and first weekend in Las Vegas.
Bridesmaid
Laura and Kelly met in college on Kelly’s 21st birthday, a night one of us will never remember. They were close ever since with a shared passion for Britney Spears and the importance of natural lighting. Over the years, Laura, Kelly, and Rachel have had countless therapy sessions, including the infamous Mexican night in DC, and continue to do so all living within 20 minutes of each other.
Groomsman
Dan and Sean first met in kindergarten and have a lifetime of memories through the years. Sean was responsible for Dan’s journey through Boy Scouts, Dan was responsible for Sean surviving the COVID-19 pandemic, and they are both responsible for 20 years of bad choices and mistakes.
Bridesmaid
Laura and Meghan met in their Charlottesville days where they proceeded to become #DPAdropouts and formed their own party of two with winery tours, yappy hours, and their own book club. They often show up to dinner wearing the same outfit and have shared many laughs together over the past 8 years.
Groomsman
Dan and Wes first met freshman year of high school and spent all four years as friends and playing multiple sports together. They were also the only two in their high school magnet program to have their certificates withheld for not taking the program seriously. They have not taken many things seriously since then either.
