We met the day Kristine signed her lease for a new apartment in Fort Worth. Tommy was apartment 6 and Kristine was apartment 5 - it was meant to be! Tommy admitted right away he had noticed his neighbor in #5 (but couldn't quite remember her name). Soon, all the housemates at 811 May St. were hanging out on a regular basis and Tommy figured out Kristine's name and the way to her heart...making her dinner! It didn’t hurt that he came with an adorable pup, Scout!

Tommy worked with a local jeweler to create a truly one-of-a-kind engagement ring for Kristine. On her 37th birthday he cooked her dinner, gave her some awesome gifts, and then invited her for a cocktail at their favorite spot in the neighborhood, Proper. Kristine was under the impression they were grabbing one drink then meeting up with a couple of friends. Tommy kept his cool throughout the entire drink and Kristine never suspected a thing! As they were getting ready to leave Tommy got down on one knee and popped the question. Kristine cried. And of course said YES! After taking a few minutes to let it sink in and celebrate, Tommy took Kristine to a surprise engagement party he had planned with some of their friends. It was magical.
