FAQs

Question

When is the wedding?

Answer

Friday, October 16, 2026. We can't wait to celebrate with you! Please refer to your invitation and the Schedule page for the full itinerary.

Question

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both take place in San Francisco, California. Venue details can be found on your invitation and the Schedule page.

Question

When will the formal invitations be mailed?

Answer

Formal invitations will be mailed in late July. Once you receive your invitation, you'll be able to RSVP and select your entrée for the reception.

Question

What is the dress code for the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Formal, Black Tie Optional We invite our guests to dress in formal evening attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a dark formal suit with a tie or bow tie, and tuxedos are welcome. Ladies are encouraged to wear a floor-length gown or an elegant formal evening dress. Inspired by the richness of the season, we encourage guests to embrace beautiful fall tones and jewel hues. Rich shades such as emerald, forest green, burgundy, plum, navy, royal blue, deep brown, black, gold, and silver are all wonderful choices. To complement our wedding palette, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, ivory, cream, champagne, or blush.

Question

Are there any other events before or after the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting a Welcome Party for any family and friends who wish to join us. You will be able to RSVP separately for this once you receive your invitation, and event details can also be found on the Schedule page.

Question

Will transportation be provided between the ceremony and reception locations?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary trolley transportation will be available for all guests between the ceremony and reception. Guests are welcome to travel between locations however they prefer, but we encourage everyone to take advantage of the trolley service. The trolley will depart to the ceremony venue from Marines' Memorial Club, where our reception will be held, and return guests there following the ceremony. Guests staying at either hotel, parking in the recommended garage, or arriving on their own are all welcome to use this service. Pickup times and additional transportation details will be included with your invitation and on the schedule of events.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. Please allow ample time for parking, transportation, and seating.

Question

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes. We kindly ask guests to refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present.

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

Yes! Your presence is the greatest gift of all, but if you wish to celebrate with a gift, our registry can be found on the Registry page of this website.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Two hotel room blocks have been reserved for our guests. Our discounted room rates are available for Thursday and Friday nights. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact the hotel directly. Hotel information and reservation links can be found on the Travel page. Guests are welcome to stay wherever they prefer, but we selected these hotels for their convenience to the wedding festivities.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests named on each invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration unless your child is specifically named on your invitation.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking is available at a preferred garage conveniently located near our reception venue. The garage address will be included with your invitation. Standard parking rates apply.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Some portions of the evening may take place outdoors, so we recommend bringing a light wrap or jacket for San Francisco's cool October evenings.
