As children of the 90’s Jake and I both had stellar bowl cuts which made for an instant friendship on the Twain Elementary playground. Always reliable and a true friend, Jake has been my videogame go-to, bailed me out from an empty tank of gas, and survived tubing the Salt River.

Brittany and I found a sweet friendship at Pepperdine as junior year roommates and sisters in Alpha Phi! Brittany always provided the vision and realistic approach to keep us going as we both applied to grad schools and made time for study breaks to go get Wendy's Frostys while blasting Drake in her car, La'Honda.

The brother of the groom, the person I have known the longest, we have been through it all! From Saturday morning cartoons to fireside chats until 4AM you have been there for me for everything. Home networking and automation, internet memes from the Reddits, or filmographies from our favorite actors and directors – we are always learning from and leaning on each other. Not to mention, I still owe him some rent for all of things I have stored in his garage over the last three years!

A freshman year suite-mate, Lauren and I made the most out of our weekends with trips to Hollywood for giant pancakes at The Griddle after going to church at Reality LA. Lauren has the easiest laugh, the most reassuring smile, and always offers a positive approach.

Justin and my friendship started on $1 beer night for Phoenix Rising. I got to flex my London experience and English Premier League knowledge for about all of 2 seconds before I was out of my depth - this man knows his football, um soccer, you get the picture! Since then a friendship has blossomed on the golf course, ski hill, and from the bottom of a beer stein.

A 4th year vet student, Cailey and I find the most fun escaping the AZ heat with trips to the river, the lake, and soaking up the sun. Cailey is a resilient, thoughtful, and reliable friend I can always count on for finding new fun spots in Phoenix on a double date.

As a lifelong friend, Grant and I have been through the best of times. Happy Gilmore-ing our tee shots at Southglenn, flying around Denver at 15 years old (because Grant got his pilot’s license before his driver’s license), and always cheering for the Rockies (ok, so maybe not only the best of times).

Ashley and I found each other on the first day of vet school and immediately became best friends. She provided Jamba juices and I provided chocolate chip pumpkin bread to get through first year anatomy. It was a match made in heaven. Emma was my lane buddy and cheerleader, keeping me going as we finished senior season of swimming at Pepperdine. Emma and I took advantage of Malibu summers with trips to the beach with acai bowls and returned to the pool as alumni for some extra hot tub time. Emma is truly a sweetheart and free spirit... and is also the artist who devoted her time to create our Save the Dates!

A longtime “one of the guys” Jenna has always been there for me and never ceases to amaze me with her friendship. She started out as the E Suite Sweetie coming over to study Business Calc and has become an amazing friend and created a true musketeership with Ryan and I. We never missed a chance to FaceTime while abroad and catch up. Now she is married and a mother (lol what, is that real?) and still makes time for our friendship!
