We are excited to be celebrating our wedding at one of Chicago's historic places!

Originally built in 1929 as the Medinah Athletic Club, the InterContinental Hotel graces the Chicago skyline as one of the city's architectural gems. The building showcases a mix of Egyptian, Assyrian, and Greek styles, most famously in its Grand Ballroom, where our wedding will take place.

The building has been called by many different names over the decades but was branded as The InterContinental Hotel in 1990 following a meticulous restoration. The hotel now features over 800 guest rooms and 40,000 square feet of event space.

A centerpiece of the Michigan-Wacker Historic District and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the InterContinental Chicago is a celebrated symbol of the city's architectural legacy.
