Question

Who do I contact to book?

Answer

Tori! She’s our Travel Agent. Call her at 973-970-9733. Ask for Tori :)

Question

Do I have to book with your Travel Agent?

Answer

No, you do not, but if you do, she will provide some form of onboard credit, depending on the type of room you have. The minimum of onboard credit she gives is around $100 for an inside cabin, depending on the number of people in your room, and that is usually a minimum of two.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Please make sure you’ve either got a valid passport or a certified copy of birth certificate and up-to-date drivers license. You will not be allowed on the ship without either passport OR birth certificate and valid drivers license.

Question

Can I bring alcohol?

Answer

Yes! Disney allows one 6 pack per person per state room or one bottle of wine or one bottle of champagne per person per state room. Example: we bring two bottles of wine, or we’ll bring 2 six packs combined. Just remember you have to carry this on. You cannot check it so you may have to hold it for a few hours before rooms are ready. You are allowed to bring your own refillable cup as well. They do sell individual drinks of the day for around 5 to 6 dollars each, but completely optional. They do not have a drink package. Soda, water, tea, coffee are all included in the free beverages.

Question

What’s included? And is it also on their private island too?

Answer

Yes! And yes! All of your food, soda, water, tea, coffee 24/7. Room service is free however, if you utilize it, definitely make sure you bring money for tips. Get a Mickey ice cream bar to your room at 1am if you want!

Question

Do I need to bring cash?

Answer

Yes, and no. You can tip in cash or you can have it added to your state room account. The majority of all Disney purchases that you may make aboard the ship are tied to your ship room key card.

Question

How does it work with gratuities?

Answer

You are most likely pre-paying for gratuities, however, at the very end of your cruise, you will receive envelopes if you want to provide any additional cash tips for the person who cleans your room and the servers for the dining room table. It’s completely up to you if you want to provide any additional, it is nice to do so if they provide you good service.

Question

What if I have a magic band?

Answer

Make sure it is linked to your reservation and you can use it to open your state room door and also be used as your way to charge items. On the app, it’ll also allow you to purchase a special cruise magic band+ if you’d like. They’re usually $45.

Question

Do I need an app?

Answer

Yes! Make sure you download your Disney cruise line app when you book your room. It’s got a lot of goodies there, plus you’ll need it for communicating on the ship.

Question

Is there really a pirate night?

Answer

Yes!! Pirate night typically falls on the second night as we leave Nassau, Bahamas, and fireworks usually around 10:15 PM in the upper deck. Best place to watch is on the right side of the ship!
