We met in 2018 at Ben's Brick Oven when Andrew started working. We were having casual conversations and decided to get to know each other better. Both of us had an interest in each other right away and we decided to go out for coffee one day before work and the rest was history.

In January, we talked about how fun it would be to go to Estes Park for the weekend and go see all of the shops and the nature around the town. Andrew suggested that we go the first weekend in February, so we woke up early on Sunday and drove to the mountains. We stopped for brunch at a cute little American-style bistro and then started to walk around downtown Estes. After we had visited all of the shops, we decided to drive up by Rocky Mountain National Park to get a better view of a pair of snowy mountaintops for some pictures, but we ended up turning around and going back to town because of the weather. We were standing on a bridge over the river when Andrew got down on one knee... To tie his shoe. I just rolled my eyes and laughed, because I knew he wouldn't bring me to Estes and not play some sort of joke on me. We walked down the river a little more, and found an open area with some steps alongside the river. Then he got down on one knee (again) and asked the magic question. I was crying before he even finished asking, and I was more than happy to say yes!
