Memorial Park
We used to live right next to Memorial Park and would go on runs or take Keeper for walks daily! The park has a beautiful 3 mile walking/ running trail, a driving range, and a couple restaurants (Vibrant being our fav!).
Roast & Brew
Grab a coffee or breakfast at our all time favorite coffee shop! Fun fact: Kassidy never drank coffee until Connor started bringing her to all of his favorite coffee shops around Houston (this being one of the first). Now she can’t go a day without an iced latte! Kassidy’s order: Iced latte w/ whole milk Connor’s order: Iced pecan cold brew with a dash of half & half
Taste of Texas
The Taste of Texas is a famous Texas family- owned restaurant owned by the Hendee’s, Kassidy’s God parents, and a must try for people visiting. If you give it a try please sure to let our officiant (Edd Hendee) and his sweet wife Nina Hendee know!
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams
If you’re looking for a sweet treat, we suggest Jeni’s ice cream! There are multiple locations around Houston, but this location is special to us because it’s where we went after our first date at Simone on Sunset (where we will be hosting our Welcome Party).
TEN Sushi + Cocktail Bar
If you are a sushi lover like us we highly suggest going to TEN. The vibe is super fun, the cocktails are amazing, and the fish is amazing quality. We love this spot so much that we had our engagement dinner party here!
Highland Village
If you’re looking for a nice area to shop and grab a bite, we highly recommend going to highland village!
City Centre/ Town & Country
City Centre is another great place to walk around, shop, and grab something to eat!
Uptown Park
Another amazing shopping center that is super cute and easy to get around. Honorable mentions: The Rustic, Postinos, and Giant Leap Coffee!!
