We're Getting Married!

Hello All! Unfortunately we have had to change our June 13th wedding celebrations. With the safety of all of our friends and family in mind, we have decided to postpone our ceremony and reception to June 5th, 2021! We hope that you are all able to attend! We will still be holding a small ceremony with immediate family on June 13th 2020 so that we can still become husband and wife! When this is all said and done, we will get to marry the love of our lives twice! We pray that you are all remaining healthy and safe! Love, Lindsay and Alex

On February 15th 2019, all the signs were there that Alex was going to propose. Alex took the day off of work, Haley took me to get my nails done, and we were going to the zoo aquarium (Our favorite date spot) for a night of wine and fine dining. We got dressed up, went to the aquarium, took pictures, enjoyed a champagne toast, and a four course meal all paired with delicious wine. The setting was perfect for a proposal. Once we finished desert, we hung around for a little while, but ultimately decided it was time to go. When we stood up, I was sad as clearly the moment to propose seemed to have passed, but I decided that it was a fun night so I was not going to let it bother me. Upon leaving the aquarium, Alex started to trail behind- it was February at the time, so it was freezing outside and I was determined to get to the warmth of our car. That's when I heard Alex speak, "Hold on let me tie my shoe." Cold and impatient, I turned around to wait for Alex, little did I know, that at this moment (while he really did untie his shoe to "make it look legit") Alex was actually getting down on one knee to ask me to spend the rest of my life with him.
