Smith Rock State Park
We don't have to sell this one very hard. If you're in the area and have never been, it's a must do. For the entire experience definitely do the Misery Ridge Trail (awful name but only about .5 mile of intense hiking). The views from the top can't be beat though!
High Desert Museum
One of our favorite activities to do together is go to museums and this is one of our favorites in Oregon. If you're looking for something to do for a few hours or maybe on your way out of town definitely consider stopping here!
McMenamins Pub at Old St. Francis School
We love to stay at this McMenamins but there's a lot to do even if you aren't an overnight guest. They have a theater, soaking pool, pub, hidden rooms, and all the things there is to love about a McMenamins. Definitely explore here if you find yourself in Bend proper!
The Gear Fix
If you're looking for shopping you can't go wrong with the Old Mill District, but be sure to stop by The Gear Fix! It's a great secondhand outdoor gear store where you can definitely score some deals. This is a must do whenever we are in Bend.
