Registry/Gifts?

Answer

We won't be having an itemized registry, but we welcome cash/checks to save for a honeymoon and start a bank account as husband and wife! A card box will be available at the reception, and there is a section in the website under "registry" online as well.

Ceremony/Reception?

Answer

We will be holding a private wedding ceremony with only immediate family members. The reception is open to all and begins at 6:00pm.

Parking?

Answer

The reception will be held at the Covered Porch entrance at Como Park Conservatory. There should be plenty of parking spots available, as the party takes place after the public park is closed. Park in the Palm Lot. The entrance is the door next to the lilypad pond. A security guard will be there to let you in.

Dress Code?

The dress code is pretty relaxed. We recommend cocktail attire or dressy casual. The reception takes place in the evening in the fall and the venue has indoor and outdoor areas- plan to dress for weather accordingly!

We welcome kids to come enjoy the celebration! Just be aware it's a late evening reception and plan accordingly. We plan to provide coloring books and games and such as well!

Dinner/Drinks?

Answer

Wine, Beer, and Soda will be free up to a certain capping point- if this max is reached, these drinks from then on will be cash bar. Spirits/cocktails are cash bar. Adults may choose the Kid's Meal option if they would like- but be aware it's served as a portion for a child aged 6 and under. The Vegetarian Meal and Kid's Meal options are not part of the buffet, so if this option is selected, you will have a plated meal served to you. There will be a light appetizer charcuterie before dinner. The first course is a Garden Salad and/or Bread & Butter. The meat options are Summer Roasted Chicken and Honey Ginger Pork. The Vegetarian option will likely be a Ratatouille Quinoa Bowl. The available sides are vegetables and mashed potatoes.
