Our couple actually met in the first grade. In that class they would play on the playground and pick on each other, so much so that Tammi (bride's mom) made a joke they would be each others prom dates. Flash forward to High School where DeAnna joined the track team sophomore year and she reconnected with Tyler. After a few days of competitive flirting the two were invited to a party by a mutual friend. Exactly one week after that party Tyler asked DeAnna out in the school hallway, surrounded by friends and with a bouquet of flowers. After DeAnna said yes in 2014, 12 years later she will say I do. And yes, they were in fact, each other's prom dates.
