Arriving in Cozumel

Michael and Holly will be flying into Cozumel Airport on Wednesday, October 22nd. Upon arrival, there will be taxi drivers who can take you to your hotel. Certain hotels also offer shuttle service to and from the airport. IMPORTANT NOTE - Most transport in Cozumel is CASH ONLY, and you will need dollars or pesos to get around via taxi and shuttle. There are no rideshare apps (Uber, Lyft, etc.) on the island.

Wednesday to Wednesday United and American Airlines both offer several options that would get you into Cozumel Airport between noon and 3pm on the 22nd. Located minutes from the airport, this is where Holly and Michael will be staying from Wednesday the 22nd until Wednesday the 29th. Room rates start at US $147 per night, and have options that include full breakfast or all-inclusive. IMPORTANT NOTE - This hotel offers day passes for $50 and all-inclusive day passes for $110 per day if you do not wish to stay here. There is also a dive shop we will be taking full advantage of!

Playa Azul Cozumel Hotel

Km. 4 Carretera a San Juan, Cozumel, Q.R. 77600, Mexico

Right next door and a 3-minute walk on the beach to the Westin is Playa Azul Cozumel, which is a smaller waterfront boutique hotel. They are running an early booking special (see link) where room rates are as low as US $57 per night with breakfast included. To get any of the discounted rooms, you are asked to become a rewards member (which is free of charge). A majority of our guests have informed us they will be staying at this property. IMPORTANT NOTE - Their website defaults to Spanish. Either right-click and select "Translate to English" on any page, or find the top right corner where you can toggle between languages.
