If you ask Autumn how we met, she’ll say it was in middle school and that Zeke was sitting on a desk being rowdy while she was trying to read a book on the other side of the room. If you ask Zeke, he’ll say that it was in high school when she got placed in academy classes with him. We became friends through our appreciation for humor, pranks, and poking each other with our classroom yardstick when the other was trying to focus. We kept in touch after Autumn moved away, all throughout her exchange year in Perú, and up until she moved to Florida. We lost contact for three years after that. In 2020, during the beginning of Covid, we reconnected when Zeke sent a message over Snapchat out of the blue. It was the beginning of our love story! We visited each other a few times after that between Alabama and Nebraska, and in August of 2020 we started dating! Zeke flew down to visit twice and both times we had to hunker down because of a hurricane, which ended up being so fun since we were able to watch a lot of movies like Young Frankenstein! We now quote that movie constantly together. Moving to back to Nebraska in 2021, we have been together ever since! We are so grateful to have everyone celebrate our story with us!
