April in Florida can be a hit or miss depending on the heat/rain/humidity. This is a partially outdoor event, guests are not expected to wear full suits/long ball gowns/ high heels/etc. Cocktail/Semi-formal is the appropriate attire for the evening. The MOST important detail is that the ENTIRE outfit must be ALL BLACK.
