Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking around the church for the ceremony and a parking lot behind the Story County Community center for the reception The reception is split level. Park at the top if you need ground surface entrance. There is limited parking at the top so leave it for those who need it. There is plenty of parking at the bottom. You will have to climb stairs if you park at the bottom.

What time is the reception?

Ceremony will be at 3:30PM Reception to follow at the Nevada Fairgrounds Community Building We will be eating at 6:30PM when the wedding party arrives

Will you be opening gifts the next morning?

Answer

We will not be formally opening gifts the next morning. Chris and I will open gifts ourselves.

Is there a dress code?

Wear clean semi formal, normal wedding-goer clothes . No pajamas, please!

Can I use my phone to take pictures?

Answer

We ask that you do NOT use your phone to take pictures during the wedding ceremony. Our photographer will need a clear aisle to get the absolute best shot! At the reception you are more than welcome to !

What time are we eating?

We will eat dinner at 6:30PM (Smokehouse72 catering). We will have popcorn, drinks and snacks after the ceremony and before dinner so you don't STARVE!
