Thomas and Erica’s journey began in 2021, when they first crossed paths at a Law Enforcement Career Center during their junior year of high school. By the start of their senior year, their bond had grown into a deep friendship, and after a couple dates, on February 5, 2023, Thomas walked Erica to her car in the rain. It was there, beneath the moonlight and the soft patter of raindrops, that he kissed her and asked her to be his girlfriend—a moment that marked the beginning of something truly unforgettable. Their love blossomed further during a Spring Break trip to North Carolina that same year, where they realized just how deeply they had fallen for one another. From that point on, their lives intertwined, and at the age of 19, they made the bold decision to move across Missouri together. They spent a year in Springfield, Missouri, before returning to Kansas City, where they now share an apartment filled with love and the laughter of their cherished pets, continuing to write the next chapters of their beautiful story.
