Things To Do

Pittsburgh might be the Steel City, but it has its charms. If you get the time, please visit some of the sites that have meaning to us.
Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium

Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium

7370 Baker Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206
, (412) 665-3640

We spent a lovely summer afternoon at the zoo and oohed and aahed over the animals. Mike laughed when I noticed the placard about elephant teeth. That's what happens when you're a dental assistant.

Carnegie Museum of Natural History

Carnegie Museum of Natural History

4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213
, (412) 622-3131

The parking took us a minute, but once inside, we studied every description, statue, and exhibit. We avoided the modern art. It weirds me out too much.

Sesame Inn

Sesame Inn

711 Browns Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15237
, (412) 366-1838

Not only does this place have a great atmosphere and amazing food, but it was also the place where Mike and Isabel became an official couple. Lunch or dinner, you will not be disappointed.
