We first crossed paths at the University of Georgia, where we shared mutual friends and the occasional hello—but it wasn’t until a few years later in Augusta that our story truly began. At the time, Michael was in his third year of medical school, and Jennifer was in her second year of physician assistant school. One night, we recognized each other at a concert, struck up a conversation, and something just clicked. About a week later, Michael called Jennifer and asked her to brunch. He arrived early and already had coffee waiting at the table—huge green flags for Jennifer! As for Michael, he was immediately drawn to Jennifer’s kindness and how naturally the conversation flowed. That brunch turned into many more live concerts, meals together, bike rides along the Augusta canal, and the realization that we never wanted to stop spending time with each other. Since that first date, we’ve celebrated major milestones side by side: earning our MD and Master’s degrees, traveling to new continents together, and supporting each other through both life’s highs and lows. Most recently, Michael’s residency brought us to Fort Worth, Texas, where we’re excited to keep building a life together. This summer, we exchanged vows in Yosemite National Park and will legally tie the knot in a private ceremony on August 28, 2025, with Jennifer’s grandfather as our officiant. We are so grateful for your love and support, and we can't wait to celebrate this special milestone with you!
