On a cold March evening, Zachary was sitting at his usual study spot in the Earth & Mineral Sciences Library at Penn State, with no idea he'd be meeting his future bride. As Winnie walked into the room and looked for a seat, she caught eyes with Zach and he quickly greeted and welcomed her to sit near him. It was obvious there was an immediate connection between us and we ended up talking the night away. We continued to meet up for study dates around campus and eventually started dating. Two years later, we both graduated from Penn State and Winnie was off to Optometry school in south Florida, while Zach was working in northeast Pennsylvania. During Winnie's time as an optometry student, Zach was able to visit her for about a week every month, and we also made a lot of FaceTime calls! Then on March 13th of 2021, Zach and Winnie got engaged on the Biscayne Bay in Miami Florida. Fast forward a few months later, Winnie graduated from optometry school and moved-in with Zach right outside of Houston, Texas. This brings us to today, where we are waiting to celebrate our wedding day with y'all!
