Yes, we are an actual Tinder success story! Despite growing up in adjacent towns, we never had the chance to meet in real life until our mid-20s....thank God for the internet! Basketball, friends & family, Portuguese culture and hip-hop lyrics were all over both of our dating profiles. We both swiped right, and crossed our fingers that we weren't going on a date with a serial killer. ​ Over the next few weeks, we took every opportunity to talk and text. She was on a trip in NH with her family, while he was in DC exploring with friends. We kept finding ways to send funny pictures, create new inside jokes and message one another........"Oh, did I text you that? I meant to text my friend. But, how are you doing anyway? :)" After our separate trips, we eventually had our first date at Lola's in Providence. Maybe it was the way he watched her struggle to find a parking spot, but didn't want to interfere because she is an independent woman that doesn't need help! Or, maybe those house margaritas by the water loosened us up, but we ended up chatting all night and setting up a 2nd date, pronto! After countless dates, vacations, brewery tours, weekend getaways, homemade dinners, and Sunday Fun-Days... Stacie said YES outside of Pineapples on the Bay in Newport on Mother's Day in May 2018. Our moms were so happy! And yes, Costa is marrying DaCosta, will she add the Da?!?! :) We could not be more excited to celebrate the next step in our journey with each and every one of you. You have all played (and will continue to play) such an important part in our adventure!
