Eat, Drink & Be Meredith!

Austin and I met at a his fraternity's halloween party our first year in Greek life at Wayne State. We attended his fraternity's semi formal together ("Pikesgiving") a few weeks later and honestly the rest is history! Earlier this year Austin took me to dinner in Detroit, but before getting to dinner surprised me in front of the business building where we spent a lot of time during our time at Wayne State. He got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together and we both could not have been more overjoyed. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone and can’t wait for the big day!

With everything going on in 2020 and in order to protect the health and wellbeing of our friends and family - we made the decision to postpone our November 14, 2020 wedding. With little improvement over the summer with the pandemic we chose to go forward with a small church ceremony with our immediate families while streaming it live on Facebook live. Although not our original plan - we had the best day and were truly reminded what the wedding was all about! We look forward to November 12, 2021 to celebrate with all of our friends & family at our renewal ceremony and wedding reception!
