We met in 2019 playing the clarinet in college marching band. Gavin joined Kappa Kappa Psi in 2020, the same band fraternity Sarah was in. Through mutual friends over the next few years, we started to hang out and officially date in 2021 - Sarah's last semester. Our first dates were watching Gilmore Girls together, and we've been showing each other our favorite series, movies and musicals ever since. On vacation in 2024, Gavin planned a beautiful surprise and proposed on the beaches of Lake Michigan!

Krippendorf Lodge at the Cincinnati Nature Center (CNC) is an indoor/outdoor venue. Please check the weather and plan accordingly! CNC has heavily wooded grounds where you will likely see animals of all kinds and sizes :) Please stay in the event areas and do not walk into the woods - the trails are not lit after the sun goes down.
