What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Kindly arrive by 4:15 PM CT, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Refreshments will be available in the Pecan Orchard, so feel free to grab a drink and find your seat beforehand. If you arrive late, we ask that you wait until the ceremony concludes to join us, to ensure there are no interruptions.

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end at 11:00pm CST and the bride and groom will do a grand exit at this time.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black-Tie Optional which means women are encouraged to wear floor-length dresses or gowns, while men are expected to wear formal tuxedos or dark suits with ties. We will be looking our best and we invite you to do the same for our big day.

What's the best way to RSVP and by when?

Answer

Please RSVP either through this website or by mail by August 1st, 2025.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a three-course plated dinner and dessert. We will have an open bar throughout the evening which includes signature cocktails, liquor, beer, and wine.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation from The Westin hotel will be provided to and from. Shuttle times will be provided within your welcome bags upon arrival to the hotel.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The bride and groom kindly request an unplugged ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us today is to be truly present, so please turn off all phones and cameras and enjoy this special moment with us.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we adore all of your little ones, we kindly ask that the evening be an adult-only affair outside of our immediate family.

Can I bring plus one?

Answer

To maintain the intimacy of our wedding, we kindly request that only the guests formally named on your invitation attend. If you have received a plus-one, this will be indicated on your invitation and when you RSVP.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Houston, Texas is still hot in September. Please make sure you hydrate before the ceremony. Refreshments and fans will be provided for your comfort.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Parking is available at the venue if you choose to drive.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Houston George-Bush Airport (IAH) or Houston Hobby (HOU).

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

While you can Uber or Taxi from the airport, we do recommend renting a car to get around town easier throughout the weekend. Transportation will be provided on Saturday to and from the wedding from The Westin Hotel so that everyone can enjoy the wedding.
