Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony parking is available in the lot for Trinity UMC, and the church has graciously allowed guests to remain parked during the reception. However, we ask that cars be removed by 7AM the following day (29Jun) so as to not interfere with Sunday services at the church. Un-metered street parking is also available on South Cherry Grove Avenue adjacent to the reception venue.

How do we get from the Ceremony to the Reception?

Great question! It is a very short walk (300 ft). The church and the reception venue are across from each other on West Street.

When should we head to the reception venue?

Answer

As soon as the ceremony is over, we will walk to the reception venue (1313 West) for the cocktail hour.

Question

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Whatever you can dance in! Parts of the cocktail hour may be on grass, however, the ceremony and reception will be on solid surfaces.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see everyone at their best and fanciest! The event is black tie optional, for which we recommend a tuxedo/dark suit and tie, an evening gown, or a midi-length dress.
